the pavement is a sponge.

It grapples the water and sewage,
and yawns to absorb the bodies as they fall.

The highways are like the strings
connecting pulleys and cogs amongst the cities.

Or perhaps they are the vampric veins
moving stolen blood between the organs of a massive creature.

Unseeing and archaic,
it thinks in the darkness underground.

The back roads are its fingers
stretching slowly around the countryside.

The house was dark, lit only by the red coals in the fire pit.  InuYasha snugged the blanket around his sleeping wife with his right arm, while holding his daughter on his left hip.

That done, he moved a little away from the sleeping woman to sit beside the fire pit , and, cradling her in his lap, "What am I gonna do with you, little flower, keeping your mama up so late? You must have worn her out, cause after she fed you, she fell right back asleep."

A Twisted QuestI didn't ask for this madness. When I sold my soul to the devil, it was for glory and honor, not this. When did this happen? That thirst for greatness was like a fever. We all caught it, and by the time it passed, it was too late.

     They say push on. They, who haven't seen the depravity and destruction. To go forward is suicide, to go back cowardice. Cowardice. It rolls around in my mouth, dark and heavy, like the night sky. Is it cowardice to be tired of all this bloodshed, to want to spare a few more lives?

Ryu has he was known, often demanded a great deal of respect from others, but sitting alone in the tiny little restaurant awaiting the arrival of a girl he had never even met before had allowed his overactive and multi-layered mind to run away with him, simulating a million different scenarios in the eye of his mind, none of them particularly preferable. Agent of Chaos Part 4 "We know where all of the cops are so let’s kill them." Chaos and his men went into the streets they killed ever cop they saw. Not only the cops were killed but their families were also killed. Their homes were broken into and the people were killed in their sleep. Chaos sent men to place bombs at every police station, hospital and fire station in the city. The bombs will be detonated by a trigger that is in Chaos's right pocket. While his followers were killing Chaos headed for the home of John Moore. He found out where he lived when he was elected the new District Attorney. His home in a tall apartment building Chaos broke down the door. He ran upstairs to Moore’s room him and his wife was still oddly asleep. Chaos pointed a gun to the wife's hand then blow her brains out. Moore woke up by the sound of the gun he had blood all over his face "OH MY GOD SARAH! I don’t remember winter being so cold. Was it always this way? Have I just been hidden so far back in darkness that I’ve forgotten how the world works?

When I woke up this morning, I realized my cheeks were wet. I’d been sobbing in my sleep. I didn’t even know that was possible. The anti-depressants keep me from dreaming. I suppose that isn’t really a bad thing. The only dreams I’ve had these past few years have only been nightmares.

The sky is grey. It’s beautiful. I never thought it was before.

Calm now, not looking for a fight
So I’ll just say now, who knows
Who knows, maybe we’re alright
 
When you think about the deaths due to sickness we’ve seen
The amount could have been infinitely more without our vaccines
 
We’ve developed an all-encompassing language going strong
That being the one of music, instruments, and of song
 
Seeing the horror of Haiti’s earthquake, the terrible plight
We banded together and saw them through the grisly fight

We gave ourselves the gift of flight
 
We started with nothing in our time

Bioshock Vs Bioshock Infinite
On August 21st 2007, Game Developers Irrational Games released a little game called Bioshock. The hype for the game was massive, part due to it being a spiritual successor to the popular System Shock series, but also due to its incredibly unique and haunting setting and the now legendary ‘Big Daddies’.

Expectations were high for this game, and it now stands as one of those few games that surpassed those expectations.

Indeed, Bioshock is nothing short of a masterpiece. One of the few Post-Modernist video games out there, sitting comfortably beside Portal and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (all of which are personal favouriteBioshock Vs Bioshock Infinite by ~Nukid101
